If you are using a forex indicator to monitor the charts, then you should ensure that the internet connection is secure and MT4 does not get disconnected from the internet. If MT4 disconnects from internet then you will never be able to get signals from the indicator. Installing your MT4 on a VPS is a good idea. VPS is short for Virtual Private Server. VPS gives you the opportunity to host MT4 on a secure server that is online round the clock without any disruption. This solves the problem of keeping the computer on all the time so that you get the signals. In the Tools, choose Options and then click on the Email tab. Setup the MT4 for sending you an email whenever there is a notification. With MT4 installed on VPS, you don’t have to keep the computer running all the time. Whenever there will be a notification you will get a signal.
Now most brokers give you the opportunity to use a VPS. But you need a minimum account balance to get the VPS FREE. Most of the time this account balance is $5K minimum. If you are a new trader and you are trading with a micro or a mini account, you cannot get a VPS from the broker. So what to do?
